BNI is your sales team!

Being active in BNI is like having up to 40 sales people working for you, because your fellow members will be carrying your cards and referring your business to people they meet, without you having to pay them any salaries or commission.

Successful businesses use ‘word-of-mouth’ marketing as one of the most cost-effective forms of promotion. BNI provides a structured, supportive business environment in which local business people can get together to network, learn valuable new business skills and develop the strong personal relationships that lead to trust the consequent generation of significant business for each other.

You don’t have to worry about having to think of the next thing to say at BNI meetings, as the whole meeting follows a planned agenda designed to result in the maximum benefit for all the group members.

Although there is a fixed format, there is a serious focus on generating business, there is also plenty of scope for the members to enjoy themselves and have fun at the meetings as well.

The meetings are often an exhilarating start to the day’s business for most of the members. The meetings start every Thursday morning at 06:45 with 30 minutes of open networking. The cost per meeting is £10 and this includes a cooked continental breakfast eaten during the meeting. – The meeting is structured as follows :

7:15 Purpose and Overview of BNI
7:20 Pass Business Cards
7:25 Welcome any new BNI members to the organisation
7:30 Members introduce themselves and give 60-seconds presentation
7:55 Visitors to BNI give 60-second presentation
8:00 One Member gives 10-12 minute presentation on their business
8:15 Pass Referrals
8:30 Close Meeting / Open networking commences
